I am trying to do better with my blog.....If Jessie can do both blog and FB, certainly I can.(YEAH RIGHT)...............

Nothing out of the ordinary today, did some random house cleaning, met up with a bud at the mall for a bit and watch some natural pageant going on. Ava was totally into it like watching noggin.

Later we headed to Brie's 5th bday party at the park. The kids ran crazy for 2 hours and ate a bunch of cupcakes, cake and junk(Ava loved it)............then came home. I know I know, I live a seriously exciting life.

I made Quick Chicken Pot Pie and I am now counting down the hour till I put the kiddoes to bed. I should be ashamed of that BUT I am not,lol.

OH, my brother left today to head back to Georiga.........we miss him already.

I have got to do better with this darn blog! I need to put it on my priority list,lol.......

Hmmm........... so much has happened...........BUT the biggest is Ava turning 5 this past Sunday. Time flies......I will share a few pics of the Big Event...............We went all the way out with Fancy Nancy and Ava is STILL talking about her party. She had a blast and everything went so smoothly. She is currently suffering from a case of snuffed(why she doesnt say stuffed) nose but other than that, she is doing well......

I think Dameron and Ava enjoyed her party just as much, they both were getting alot of attention from the helpers,lol. I had some teen girls helping me as well as some tweeners. It was a nice success:)...........I am now moving on to Aaron's 2nd bday party and Christmas!

JUNIORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Where has the time gone? I just can NOT believe he is a JUNIOR in high school...... When he woke himself up this morning and drove to high school, I was like WOW...........It was this wonderful feeling and this sad feeling all at the same time...... Like I am so proud of who he is becoming and has become BUT man I so remember when he was just born..............Just love him.

I Really Need............

to do better.............I have the best intentions on blogging and then LIFE gets in the way. We are just really enjoying our summer............Lil D is in marching band daily for the next 3 weeks from 1-9pm. The good thing is he is LOVING it and its fun. He played saxophone from 5th- till this past school year. However, decided to quit band BUT joined the marching band(i did not know this was an option) and has learned in literally 2 days to play the susaphone and tuba. He amazes me on a daily basis with how quick he can pick up stuff.....

Ava is enjoying swimming still and just finished up tball. We start dance this month and she is READY. She has been invited(invitation only) into the Beginner Dance Company. She will be the youngest but apparently they think she can handle it. She is very excited about that, as well as the new class she will be adding to her dance. Lyrical is one she took this summer and fell in love with. It is awesome to see her find things she loves and wants to do.

Aaron is HILLARIOUS still.......He tries to do everything Dameron and Ava do and then adds his own spin to it. He mimics every word, move, etc...... It is SO cute. I love to hear him talk. Ava dotes on him like he is the King of the house. Its cute to see the lil momma in her,lol.

I got a job today...........its very part time BUT its a job. I will be doing inventory at Gymboree outlet. I know I am going to have a ball doing it. I told myself 10 times today, I will not buy, I will not buy,lol.

I am going to make a SERIOUS effort to come back more. Until next time...........I am leaving you with some pics of the two youngins...........I need to snag a pic of mr busy aka Dameron. He is never home(SNIFF SNIFF)

THE DRIVER..............

My first born son is now a licensed driver..........I can not believe it. What is even more astounding is the fact that he only missed 3 points(you are allowed 30pts) He lost those points before leaving the parking lot. He let the wheels slide through his fingers when turning. We were very different with Dameron getting his license. We made up a contract with him and unlike others we had him hold his permit for a full year. It actually expired and he had to have it renewed. So he practiced with one of us for a full year and some change before being allowed to take the drivers test. He also attended drivers school a week prior to getting his license. I have to admit he is a great driver. He took his first and second solor drive today. He drove himself this morning to his cycling ride he does every Saturday. He also ran an errand for me(he kept begging,lol) So he took some things to goodwill and habitat for humanity for me. He was GRINNING from ear to ear,lol....... I snapped a pic of his license. Why didnt i snap a pic of him WITH his license,lol..... Oh well........My boy is growing up and I am proud of him!!

Photo Shoot and Driving

So.............I received the cd today from Ava's Photo Shoot in Charlotte. She had a blast doing it and made some money. I was amazed that she let us change her clothes 12 times AND redo her hair several times and NEVER complained. She was immediately at ease with Lindsey. Lindsey never had ot tell her to smile or turn. Ava would go from pose to pose and Lindsey just snapped away,lol.

Alot happening today for Dameron and Ava...........Dameron got to go driving for 3 hours straight with his driving instructor. He loved it and can't wait to go back on Thursday and do another 3 hours. I cant beleive how fast he has grown. He really is a super kid, he has his ISSUES but all in all, I think he is going to be alright.

Ava had fun at VBS again. She has come home singing a new song each day so far. Later she got to go to Lyrical Camp with Anna(from next door) It was Melody(Anna's stepmoms) turn to take them. Afterwards she went over to play and was over there literally 3 hours straight. They played games and got in the hot tub,lol. She passed out after dinner,lol.

It's Father's Day!!!

Ok............I could NOT find batteries charged up SO a cellphone pic had to be the GOOD picture of my wonderful man and the kiddoes. Sorry guys,lol.

We had a VERY lazy Father's Day. Big D woke up with serious pain in his foot. He could not put weight on it and literally teared up to just walk SO we stayed home from church today. The kids with my supervision, cooked him a lavish breakfast. It was SO cute to watch Lil D helping Ava and letting Aaron hold a spoon or throw away things,lol. Again, I would of LOVED to get pics of it all BUT besides the batteries being dead, I was so busy trying to supervise Lil D, I forgot.

They ended up making sausage, bacon, eggs(with cheese), biscuits, pancakes and strawberries. I think they were hungry,lol. Every thing turned out wonderful and was actually all hot at the same time,lol. GO BATSON KIDS.

He opened up his gifts and loved everything. He is super easy to please. He recieved cards, watch with matching money clip and wallet and a nice amount of cash from his parents and my mom.

We just laid around and played with the kids and enjoyed the day. It was perfect:)
